Are you starting your Russian learning journey? Nika Minchenko from Ru-Land Club will help you learn the fundamentals. Her edutainment–style videos are perfect for beginners as she pronounces every word slowly and clearly, which makes the language learning process twice as effective! In this video, Nika talks about her usual day as an online tutor in Russia. She uses basic sentences that are frequently used by a native speaker, so the knowledge you’ll get from this video will be as relevant as it gets. And make sure to check the teaching and vocabulary points that we included in order to help you focus on the most interesting parts of the conversation. With this video lesson, you'll learn how to describe your daily routine, how to properly tell the time in Russia, and the function of unidirectional verbs. Be aware that telling the time in Russian might seem confusing for some students due to its 24-hours format and additional words Russians use when telling the time. Don't forget to show this video to your friends so you can practice together by discussing it.

Hi guys and welcome to Ru-land's Clubs Channel!

I'm Nika. This is the lesson for beginners, and today I will give you some vocabulary that will help you to describe your typical day, and will try to describe mine with this little helper who is tired of my filming already.

Just a small thing before we begin.

When we describe our daily routine, normally we use imperfective verbs, and if it is a verb of motion, then we use unidirectional verb. For example:

"Идти" or "ехать".

Обычно я просыпаюсь в семь тридцать утра и сразу встаю.

[music]

Потом я делаю зарядку.

[music]

После зарядки я чищу зубы.

[music]

И умываюсь.

[music]

Потом я принимаю душ.

[music]

И мою голову.

[music]

После душа я сушу волосы феном и расчесываюсь щеткой.

[music]

Потом я мажу лицо кремом,

[music]

а после крема я делаю макияж или крашусь.

[music]

Обычно я использую тональный крем и тушь для ресниц.

[music]

Потом я готовлю завтрак

[music]

и делаю кофе, чаще всего капучино.

[music]

Сегодня у нас на завтрак были пельмени, бутерброды с сыром и баклажаном и капучино. Я завтракаю в восемь тридцать утра.

[music]

А в девять часов мы с мужем идем в парк гулять с собакой.

Мы гуляем на специальной площадке для собак, где Купер может свободно бегать, прыгать и тренироваться.

[music]

И это моя самая любимая часть дня! Особенно, когда мы играем с мячом.

[music]

В одиннадцать часов я начинаю работать.

Я всегда пишу план на день, а потом делаю разную работу: отвечаю на сообщения, делаю слайды, готовлю учебные материалы.

[music]

Потом я снимаю видео для YouTube, Instagram или онлайн курсов.

В два часа дня я делаю обеденный перерыв, я обедаю и отдыхаю.

Потом я опять работаю, а вечером отправляю мужа в магазин за продуктами.

[music]

Потом я готовлю ужин, и мы ужинаем вместе.

[music]

После ужина я отдыхаю. Я смотрю фильм или сериал,

[music]

читаю книгу,

[music]

слушаю музыку

[music]

или играю с Купером.

[music]

А в полночь я иду спать.

[music]

Спокойной ночи всем!

[music]

Но Купер не согласен.

[music]

That's all!
