We published the first episode of our News in Slow Italian over one year ago and here we are with episode 13 still in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Today I present several short news about a variety of topics and after each one I will ask you a question.
At the end of the video I will repeat the news a bit faster. You can use this video as a listening exercise and to learn words and phrases used by Italian media.

The covid emergency continues and since 15 March most of Italy has been declared a red zone.
Based on the latest data on infections, the Government has decided to apply more restrictive measures to contain the spread of the pandemic, limiting the movement of people.
As had already happened in March of two thousand and twenty, it is forbidden to leave the house without a valid reason.
In the red zone, schools remain closed and elections are held remotely.
And almost all commercial activities are also closed.
The only concession is foreseen in the days around Easter Sunday, the third, the fourth and the fifth of April it will be possible to visit a maximum of two people, relatives or friends.
Easter will be very different this year too.
